Abstract
What do medical writers do right, and what do they sometimes do wrong? Chapter 4 tells the habits of experienced, successful writers, also how to deal with some of the problems writers face, such as “writer’s block” and the tendency to make “rookie errors.” Also discussed are some of the advantages and issues that arise when there are coauthors. The chapter also describes the Fog Index, the problem of factual errors, and the selection of the best title for an article or book.
