After initial publication of the book, various errors were identified that needed correction. All corrections listed below have been updated within the current version.

Chapter 1

• 1. p. 13: n should be k

• 2. p. 30: added missing right parenthesis

• 3. pp. 31–32: added missing O in figures

• 4. p. 33: (1) added missing “of”; (2) deleted redundant commas in Eqs. (1.43) and (1.44)

• 5. p. 34: added missing (i = 1, 2, …, n)

• 6. p. 35: rephrased for clarity

• 7. p. 38: deleted excessive space after heading
