Abstract

With only a few days of difference, in 2015 we have the occasion to celebrate the 75th birthday of Enric Trillas (May 29th, 1940) and 50 years of the publication of Fuzzy Sets by L. A. Zadeh (June, 1965). The title of this brief section is an obvious reference to the first of these celebrations, but also a tribute to Enric’s remarkable contributions to the development of Fuzzy Set Theory the aforementioned landmark paper being officially considered as its origin.
