Abstract

An advanced method to raise the power factor (PF) with fewer components than the traditional PFC circuits is proposed. It also provides an efficient solution to supply power for Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs). The structure of driver and control circuit for T8-LED tube is designed and verified as well.
