Abstract

In this article, we propose a design for a light guide for highly uniform illumination. The design is based on a refractive equation and the law of conservation of energy. We applied these principles to design the secondary optics lens. The methods used can be utilized to quickly design a lens with high uniformity. Finally, we obtain a Fresnel lens for illumination with a uniformity of around 92 %.
