Writing a book about golf putting can be as complicated as performing the action itself; it is only after the ball goes into the hole that one can truly know that he/she has succeeded. However, one thing is certain, this short book presents multiple contributions to other researchers, players and coaches who may wish to investigate the variables behind the motor execution of this movement, which is apparently much more complex than one might expect. This final chapter summarizes the main contributions. It also delineates the limitations inherent in the several studies presented in the book, suggesting future directions to readers or researchers. The chapter ends by presenting the implications of these studies on research, education and training contexts.
