Einstein’s annus mirabilis of 1905 saw the publication of his investigations into the theory of Brownian motion, his theory of special relativity, and, most revolutionary of all, his paper on light quanta , in which he extended Planck’s quantization of material oscillators to electromagnetic radiation, thereby affordi.
