Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to discuss a number of financial topics beyond the basic financial analysis methods that were introduced in Chap. 5. These topics are important in the management of assets. An understanding of these topics will be of value in contributing to asset management decisions. Outcomes You will learn about aspects of business financing, about comparing and selecting projects and issues involved in leasing. The chapter concludes with a consideration of the concepts of fixed and variable costs and break-even analysis.
