Abstract

The final m bb distribution is plotted in Fig. 8.1. The plot shows the data points in the signal region (4J) and the background estimation discussed in Section 6.4. In addition, the plot shows the negligible contribution from the \(t\bar{t}\) events (scaled to enhance its visibility) and the expected MC signal distribution (also scaled for enhanced visibility) for \(m_{H}=120\;\text{GeV}\).
