Abstract
After our tour of the universe of radio astronomy, what lies ahead? Will the radio astronomer’s use of the electromagnetic spectrum survive the inroads from commercial enterprises, which place dollar values on that same spectrum. And will we still be open to unexpected discoveries in an era where all our observations are being driven by careful planned computers programs to search for what we expect to find? Meanwhile, human curiosity drives us to search ever deeper into space so that we can better understand what those miniscule radio whispers from way out there are telling us.
