Abstract

Psychological interventions in health promotion, sickness prevention, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation consist of targeted programmed interactive practice exercises (PIPEs) or workbooks administered interactively as homework assignments. To qualify as workbooks, they must be systematically programmed, specifically targeted, and continuously interactive.
