Abstract
In this work the impedance analysis is used in order to determinate differences between tumor and unaltered liver tissue. The electrical characterization of tissues at 10 to 200 KHz is obtained by the four electrode measurement method. The difference between the tissues is determined by phase angle measured at 50 KHz. The Cole-Cole graphs showed a phase angle (ϕ) of 17.3 and 8.37 for the healthy and the tumor tissue, respectively. This difference confirms the identification of tumor tissue by impedance analysis.
