Vibration Analysis of Cyclic Machines Using Modified Transition Matrices

Abstract

This chapter is devoted to matrix methods of analysis of the vibrations in cyclic mechanical systems. Unlike traditional transition matrices in addition to elastic and inertial elements, the kinematic analog of cyclic mechanisms is entered. The analysis of generalized vibratory systems of mechanical drives with complex structure and joints accounting dynamic characteristics of the motor and the machine drive are under consideration.
