Abstract
This book presents the theory, analysis, and design of SFCW radar sensors and their components in five chapters. Specifically, the book addresses the system analysis, transmitter design, receiver design, antenna design, signal processing, and system integration and test of two SFCW radar sensors. These systems are realized in a single unit using MICs and MMICs and operate from 29.72-37.7 GHz and 0.6 to 5.6 GHz. They can be used for surface and subsurface sensing applications and have demonstrated high resolution and accuracy in various sensing measurements.
