Abstract

The efforts of many leading research groups have led to a rich variety of composite nanomaterials, and their accumulation creates great opportunities also a tremendous challenge to apply these materials in various areas, e.g., structure design, energy conversion, and environmental remediation. In addition to promote the charge separation, the welcome feature for a composite nanoparticle includes the electronic coupling among different domains in the nanocomposites.
