Abstract
In this paper we examine how quality of MITS reconstructed slices depends on tomosynthesis acquiring total scan angle (ANG), number of input projections (N), number of reconstructed slices (NS) by measuring the modulation transfer function (MTF) of the reconstruction, and other, simulated phantoms. Our results suggest that ANG=40°, N=70, NS=150 can be the optimal combination for chest imaging, using our implementation of MITS for reconstruction.
