Abstract

Drawing both on the literature on political risks in international business studies and on further reaching theoretical approaches of political science, this paper provides an innovative model on corruption, favoritism and institutional ambiguity to better understand political risks in Ukraine. This model is then used to analyze the difficult business environment of Ukraine. Referring to this, the paper finally reveals coping strategies of international enterprises.
