Abstract
Speaking in the medical vernacular is important to effectively, succinctly, and accurately communicate with your colleagues. This subject will be discussed in subsequent chapters. In this chapter, the focus is on the methods for others to contact or communicate with you via overhead pages, pagers, cell phones, two-way radios, home telephones, text messages, and e-mails, and for you to communicate with them.
“What we have here is a failure to communicate.”
