Abstract

The term ‘econophysics’ was introduced about twenty years ago. The impact of the researches under this heading has now percolated both physics and economics. To search for the growth of its impact on physical and social sciences, we make a survey on papers or documents citing the term econophysics. The study indicates that although the field was initially started by physicists, it has now percolated noticeably in different social science disciplines.
