Abstract
This chapter discusses core contents, theoretical basis, fundamental statements, and ethical considerations of occupational therapy. Classification systems for identifying clients for occupational therapy are presented. Occupational Therapy Intervention Framework (OTIF), i.e., the occupational therapists’ roles, the occupational therapy intervention and therapeutic media, and occupational therapy goals are introduced.
