Abstract
The management of ovarian cancer is based on the type of cancer (e.g, epithelial versus malignant germ cell) and the stage of the cancer. Other factors that may also be taken into account when determining a therapeutic program include patient age, childbearing status, ongoing medical comorbidities, and nutritional status.
