Abstract
In this thesis, I explored the potential of new and innovative probes of the nature of Dark Energy, by combining large scale structure data and a type of late time CMB anisotropies known as the integrated Sachs-Wolfe effect. This peculiar feature can arise only in special circumstances, and in particular in the presence of Dark Energy.
