Abstract

The Patient and Family-Centered Medical Home grounds US Maternal and Child Health Bureau policy and represents a strategic priority of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as noted in their 2008 American Academy of Pediatrics Medical Home Initiatives for Children With Special Needs Project Advisory Committee (AAP 2008; Strickland et al. 2004).
