Abstract
Twelve of the 13 cases included in this chapter partly illustrate the broad clinical spectrum of the recurrent erosion syndrome and partly its dynamic features as captured in the individual patient. In contrast, the last one (Case 13) demonstrates a cornea with pronounced epithelial basement membrane dystrophy in which repeated injuries did not result in recurrent erosions.
