Abstract

The present chapter draws on the information provided in Chaps. 2 and 4 to describe the key advances and innovations in the theoretical and numerical modeling of microfluidic electrochemical cells. The emphasis is on modeling contributions that provide new fundamental understanding of the device function and performance predictions used to inform cell design.
