Abstract
The presentations of agile methods have used a characteristic style, which helps promote the ideas but raises methodological concerns. Chapter 2 dissects the properties of agile texts, serving as a form of immunization against the risk of incorrect conclusions. Working from examples in the agile literature, it analyzes the intellectual devices, some of them questionable, that agile authors use to convince the world.
