Abstract

In this chapter, we discuss low-fidelity models as fundamental components of surrogate-based antenna optimization. In particular, we consider general requirements imposed on such models as well as overview of typical low-fidelity model setups. Numerical examples are also provided to illustrate the trade-off between low-fidelity model accuracy and computational cost.
