Abstract
This chapter presents space-modelling techniques with the use of features. The method is presented through two modelers—SolidWorks 2014 and Siemens NX 9.0. The structure of the menus and the main sub-menu commands are briefly described. The reader can gain a general insight into the commands and the structure for accessing individual commands, which is of great benefit for later use and for understanding the procedure. Such a structure will provide the reader with a comprehensive overview and understanding of the communications between the programme and the user.
