Space Modeling with SolidWorks and NX

Abstract

The last two chapters are dedicated to the technologies of creating working documentation. This chapter presents the bottom-up and top-down techniques. A theoretical model for an understanding, and the connection with the abstraction of the function, which should be performed individually for each product or assembly, is presented. A model of a shaft with bearings is presented again, followed by a description of how to cover it and install it in a casing. This shaft example proves how both methods logically complement, rather than exclude, each other.
