Hainan Resources and Characteristics of Cultural Tourism

Abstract

Hainan Island, which is located in the southern part of China, is influx of immigrants and is multicultural meeting point, which is rich in cultural tourism resources and local cultural characteristics. Meanwhile, Hainan has a unique history of the development and unparalleled geographical location, and the development of Tuehai Path and Eastern channel high-speed railway, the establishment of SkyCity and Sansha City, the convocation of Boao Forum for Asia and the establishment of International Tourism Island, all gave the Hainan tourist industry a unique opportunity for development. In another words, Hainan cultural tourism has great potential for exploratory. This chapter will present the current status of cultural tourism resources in Hainan, detailed classify Hainan cultural tourism resources, analyse the cultural characteristics of Hainan tourism and provide a reference basis for the ecological tourism development of Hainan International Tourism Island.
