Abstract
In the paper are discussed selected issues concerning programming of industrial object simulators in Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX system. Structure of the program and location of the Simulator procedures is proposed. Efficient management of variables of VBA language and process database blocks is presented as well as adjustment of Simulator work to the computing power of used computer is determined. Several guidelines are given, how to program in VBA language industrial object Simulators in Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX system. Additionally the example of industry object Simulator, which has been developed according to the proposed rules, is presented.
