Abstract
Orofacial neuropathic pain poses significant challenges to the managing clinician as well as to the patient suffering from the pain. The challenges are exemplified by the complex clinical presentation of the symptoms and the lack of clarity in the pathophysiology leading to the development of this condition. This chapter introduces the various types of orofacial neuropathic pain and their respective treatment strategies.
