Abstract
A platform approach for inertial sensor systems is proposed enabling modular and flexible E/E architectures of light vehicles providing acceleration and angular rate signals for usage in multiple safety-relevant applications. The platform portfolio spans surface mounted devices (SMD) and satellite components and makes usage of synergies on each sub-component level like MEMS, ASIC, software and package.
