Abstract

The conditions for structure-control in a co-assembly approach using block-copolymers (BCPs) as structuredirecting host and an inorganic sol as guest material have been discussed in the introductory part. In this chapter novel strategies are presented for hybrid morphologies, including TiO2 bulk assemblies near thermodynamic equilibrium, inorganic thin films with controlled pore size and porosity as well as highly ordered network morphologies in silica-based thin films
