Abstract

The architectural topic of Electric Die Cut is the façade, not as an elevation, but as a complex spatial container that deals with mass, carving and geometrical representation. this focus on the façade led to design of a highly visible building that serves as an institution for pop culture, a place where trends are set. What the Beatles were in for 1960s and Studio 54 was for the 1970s, this building imagines for today.
