Abstract

Raw materials mark the beginning of a complex value added chain. In times of increasing globalization, they are prerequisite for the functioning and the possibilities for development, prosperity and growth of any national economy. Adequate minerals policy is an absolute necessity for safeguarding a secure raw materials supply.
