Zusammenfassung
Jeder Mensch wird in bestimmten Lebensphasen mit negativen Gefühlen konfrontiert: beispielsweise durch Krankheiten, Todesfälle oder aber einfach nur durch Ängste vor täglichen Herausforderungen, durch stressige Situationen bei der Arbeit oder in der Familie, sowie durch gesundheitliche Probleme und psychische Schwierigkeiten beziehungsweise Störungen. Neben der Aussprache mit vertrauten Personen und deren Ratschlägen kann die Unterstützung durch ExpertInnen eine Erleichterung darstellen. Bei vielen Menschen bestehen nach wie vor Hemmungen, sich in einer schwierigen Lage an ProfessionistInnen zu wenden. Dafür kann es viele und auch ganz unterschiedliche Gründe geben, wie beispielsweise negative Erfahrungen; Angst vor den Reaktionen der Mitmenschen, oder die Angst sich jemand Fremden anzuvertrauen. Personen mit Hemmungen, derartigen Schwellenängsten oder jenen, die einfach Distanz bewahren wollen, bietet heutzutage das Internet eine Vielfalt von Informationen und Alternativen zu den üblichen Interventionsformen. Es ermöglicht den Ratsuchenden Zugang zu Informationen und alternativen Ansätzen. Ziel der Online-Interventionen soll unter anderem die Förderung der allgemeinen Gesundheit, der Lebensqualität und des Wohlbefindens sein. Im Rahmen dieses Artikels werden die Interventionsalternativen, die das Internet bietet, dargestellt. Die Kennzeichen sowie die Vor- und Nachteile von Online-Interventionen werden diskutiert.
