Abstract

The next ENTERprise was founded in 2000 by Marie-Therese Harnoncourt and Ernst J. Fuchs. Marie-Therese Harnoncourt graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Studio Wolf D. Prix in 1993, and, after a working stint in New York joined THE POOR BOYs ENTERPRISE. She has held teaching engagements at the Vienna University of Technology, the University of Applied Arts Vienna, and the University of Art and Design Linz. Ernst J. Fuchs graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Studio Wolf D. Prix in 1994 and co-founded THE POOR BOYs ENTERPRISE in the same year. He has taught at the Innsbruck and Vienna Universities of Technology and the University of Art and Design Linz. Work by the studio has been widely exhibited and published (Venice Biennale, Italy, 2004; 5th Biennale for Architecture, São Paulo, Brazil, 2003; Archilab 5, Orléans, France, 2003; “Latent Utopias,” Graz, Austria 2002). http://www.thenextenterprise.at
