Zusammenfassung
Die u. a. noch durch Airy Shaw (1973) zu den Centrospermen gerechnete Familie wurde in jüngster Zeit recht intensiv untersucht, da Betalainführung und Siebröhrenplastiden vom P III-Typus Merkmale sind, welche zu dieser Ordnung gehören, und dementsprechend viel zur Beurteilung von Sippen zweifelhafter Stellung beitragen können.
