Zusammenfassung
Ein Blick in die Geschichte hat mir oft geholfen, die Mathematik zu verstehen, die ich gerade studierte. Das trifft nirgendwo mehr zu als bei den komplexen Zahlen. Zuerst einmal ist der Name ein Problem — komplexe Zahlen. Er klingt sehr schwierig — etwas, das nur Gauss oder Riemann oder von Neumann verstehen könnten.
