Abstract

In this chapter we will introduce and extend concepts due to Fröhlich, the Picard group [Fr; 73], which shall help us to study automorphism groups of orders. These Picard-groups are invariant under Morita equivalence. There is a map from the automorphism group of orders to their Picard group. The kernel of this map is the group of inner automorphisms.
