Abstract
This is an introductory chapter providing a review of several dynamical systems considered throughout the subsequent chapters. These systems include general pseudogroups (Section 1.1), foliations and their holonomy pseudogroups (Section 1.3), pseudogroups of some special sort (Section 1.4) as well as, due to the richness of dynamics provided by different aspects of hyperbolicity, hyperbolic spaces and groups in Gromov’s sense (Section 1.5).
