Part of the book series: DMV Seminar ((OWS,volume 15))

Abstract

As we have seen in the previous Sections, all the boundary integral operators generated by boundary value problems are compositions of tangential differential operators and boundary potentials defined by normal derivatives of the fundamental solution, its boundary traces including normal derivatives on r and, again, tangential differential operators. This yields the following basic result on joint properties of all boundary integral operators on Г, provided Г ∈ C.
