Abstract
In addition to Section 2.2 we extend now the mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of the injection and compression moulding process (cf. Applications 2.2, 2.3) using a generalized Hele—Shaw flow which includes non-isothermal and possible non-Newtonian effects. Beside this, we will mention some recent developments concerning the solution of the full three-dimensional non-Newtonian Navier—Stokes equations without the Hele—Shaw simplifications.
