Wenn E und F zwei Ereignisse aus einem Wahrscheinlichkeitsraum Ω sind, dann nennt man den Ausdruck
eine bedingte Wahrscheinlichkeit. Er gibt die Wahrscheinlichkeit dafür an, dass das Ereignis E eintritt, unter der Bedingung, dass F eingetreten ist.
