Abstract
The parts I and II give the main results of two texts (Bull. Sci. Math., 2e série, 101, 1977, p. 3–70 et p. 149–188).
The first text concerns the approximation for the Fourier expansions (normed spaces with orthogonal operators). The results are founded on three general and very simple theorems A, B, C. We give specially three theorems for the equivalence between approximation processes.
The second text illustrates the first: we expose in fifteen pages (with new results) all what concerns the approximation of periodic functions.
In this abstract, the third part, which is a schema, explains how it is possible to extend the previous results in the case where the measures are not discrete.
