Abstract

Scientific development has to be harnessed for human welfare. Advances in immunology have been impressive, but application of the newer knowledge for the benefit of the Community has not kept pace with the advances. While discoveries are usually the result of concerted, dedicated efforts, their application is left to adjust itself to social factors.
