Abstract
We present amplitude analysis of π+n → π+π-p reaction at 6 GeV/c using the Saclay data obtained with transversely polarized deuteron target at CERN-PS. The data yield 2 physical solutions for 8 moduli and 4 cosines of relative phases of transversity amplitudes. Both solutions require non zero nucleon helicity non flip amplitudes (A1-exchange) with phases different from those of the nucleon helicity flip amplitudes (π-exchange). The S-wave contribution is small in Solution 1 but is large in Solution 2.
