Abstract

“Oberwolfach” is a place now well known to mathematicians, the site of a (National) Research Institute founded by Wilhelm Süss in 1944; the present director is Professor Martin Barner. There are several articles and various reports describing some of the activities at Oberwolfach (see, e.g., [1] and [4]). “1945” was the time of the end of the war in Europe.
