Effects of a Marathon Race on Blood Lipid Constituents in Younger and Older Athletes

  • Chapter

Abstract

The number of people who are taking part in marathon running in West Germany has increased greatly within the last years. The reason may be the growing popularity of «Volksläufe». People between 15 and 80 years of age participate in these runs.
